The food was not bad but the service is horrible. The Hispanic lady with blonde hair is a horrible server. She had an attitude for no reason and was not serving us at all. I saw a bunch of people ordering food to go but I’m sure they didn’t want to dine in because of her nasty attitude towards the clients. You can’t even enjoy the food when someone like that is serving you.
I can’t complain too much since I finished all my food, but compared to the Trompo Loco in the Cloverleaf area, this location felt like they were cutting corners. I ordered a papa asada, and they used a different cheese than what I’m used to at the other location. While the portion size looked big, it didn’t have enough meat. At the Cloverleaf spot, they really stack it, which makes a big difference. The meat quality also wasn’t the same—it was a bit chewy and didn’t have the flavor I expected. Honestly, I’d rather drive an extra 20 minutes for better quality than settle for this. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5. If I were being more critical, it could be closer to a 2/5. The good thing is I didn’t set my expectations too high. I do think this location has a lot of potential because of the brand name. If they focus on consistency, stop cutting corners, and improve presentation, it could easily be a strong spot.
If you can't afford to not charge customers extra for using their credit cards then you probably shouldn't be running a business. First and last time coming here. Plenty of good food down the street that doesn't penalize me for paying with a credit card. 👎
